New BarrierGuard Wheeled System to be launched at Traffex 2011

Date: 21/12/2010

Protect your road workers.  Now easier than ever to move barrier on site.

There is now the option of mobility as Highway Care’s BarrierGuard is now available on wheel-sets.  The wheels simply lower to allow lateral or longitudinal movement of the barrier.  The system is easily wheeled along the carriageway to a new location, without the need for lifting equipment.

The BarrierGuard Wheeled System can be easily moved with manpower alone or a towing vehicle.  Once the barrier is moved to its new location, the wheel sets are raised, which lowers the barrier on to the road surface.  The system components form part of the BarrierGuard 800 system which is approved for use on the Highways Agency trunk road network providing N2 W5 and H2 W8 performance.

Save time and transport costs by using the BarrierGuard Wheeled System.  It is ideal for repetitive regular maintenance operations where barrier lengths of 40 - 500m can be moved for short distances.  The system is also particularly suited for quick deployment into limited access areas such as tunnels or underpasses.  BarrierGuard Wheeled is a first choice for portable barrier protection at road works!
